Blaq Wheezy set to release debut studio album globally.

After going mute for close to a decade now with few unsuccessful attempts at stardom, Osun State born music icon Blaq Wheezy his finally set for the release of his debut studio album that has been approved globally to be title; Omo Osun. This news was released officially to the public via the musician's official Facebook page @teamblaqwheezy, on Thursday 6th of May 2021, in a picture post displaying the album approved art design, project title with the project UPC number. 

The musician whose real Facebook account is Abiodun Sunday Emmanuel Oyewole, also shared the brand Facebook page post few minutes after the announcement with the caption; "Let the countdown begin officially, A 9 years project, We are super excited, Osun to the world", got family, fans and friends congratulating the artiste for the achievement while wishing him success in the journey ahead.

 

We will recall that the artiste who started music in 2002 partially, went pro in 2007, had his first mainstream attention underground in 2011 with the jam titled Omo Itoki, went on to release his debut official mixtape on Saturday 2nd of June 2012 titled Welcome to Itoki, has been anticipating a studio album ever since. 

In a recent media gist, the underground talent coach talks about the new system of operations in music globally, about how he has been studying the mode of winning as an artiste and how he is ready to put into fruitful use all he has learnt during his time underground, trying to make it big. 

The album features great solo efforts and collaborations from the artiste and many publicly unknown names the musician talks about as the next generation of world music superstars, he says "I have hope of working with famous musicians once I can afford the process of making it happen but for now, fans should just enjoy something classically fresh from the underground". 

A 15 tracker piece he believes will do the magic that would turn heads and hearts towards making him a big music success and getting his fan base massive. The album is set for official release globally on all digital music stores on Monday 17th of May 2021.
